Hey
there!
I've
been having fun getting the house ready for fall and stumbled across a great
idea on Pinterest (of course) using craft pumpkins. I like to use them so I can
enjoy our fun creations year after year. They are currently 40% off at Michaels
and they have a variety of colors, shapes, and sizes.
My daughter and I bought
some scrapbook paper, cut out shapes, and then used Mod-podge to glue the paper on
the pumpkin (I chose the gloss version of Mod-podge which gives it a nice
look). We then purchased Sharpie oil-based paint pens, also from Michaels
(approx $3.99 each), and wrote our name, initials, messages, etc. on the
pumpkins. We even added some nice bows to a few of them. I'd like to try using some fun tissue paper next and might use
this as an idea for a "fall" teacher gift. The possibilities are endless!
I hope
this easy, quick craft inspires you to have a beautiful fall!
